Galleon Limited Edition Pre-Order is LIVE!

I am producing a limited number of Galleon kits in 1/60 scale.  Only 15 will be made.

DISCLOSURE:  The body is from an old Crusher Joe Galleon kit. I did rework it a bit, just be aware that this is not entirely my original work nor am I claiming it to be so.  This is more of a "kit bash."

Price will be $80 plus shipping.  Please contact me here if you are interested in a copy of the kit.

Galleon

GALLEON! I am accepting a limited number of pre-orders for the Galleon. Disclaimer: The body IS a recast of the old OOP Crusher Joe Galleon. Weapons, details, and treads have been reworked.

Price will be approximately $80 plus shipping.

Another General Update

Yes, things have been quiet around here. Not much to report. The Mad Cat I sent the caster back in July is "in production." The last round of Archers I ordered are supposed to be en route. As soon as the Mad Cats get done, I will send out the Galleon for production. After that, the Dragon.

Hang tight...and I appreciate your patience.

General Update

I know I have said it before, but good help is hard to find.  Once again I am down to just one caster that I can trust to get jobs done, done well, and done in a reasonable amount of time.

Currently, the limited run Archer kit is on the way to me.  I hope to ship those in a week or so.  The caster is now starting work on the Mad Cat kit.  After that is the limited run Galleon kit and then the Dragon kit.

So, hang in there. Stuff is coming.

Gauging Interest

How much interest is there in a updated Timberwolf mech?  The Armorcast version looks dated and the new MWO version looks too...beefy...

Price would be around $150

General Update

So, if you read through updates from years past, this is like a retread update. Son sick 2 weeks ago, wife in the hospital last week for 4 days, surgery for her this week then some recover time.  Not as much building as I would have liked. In fact, none until yesterday.

ShadowCat:  At the caster, but he has prioritized his stuff to take to Wonderfest the first weekend in June.  Hopefully, he can finish them ready-quick when he returns.

Other than that, not a lot going on.  I am working on an Archer and a Dragon both in the TRO style per customer requests.  They will still have a bit of my flair to make them cooler and more kit friendly. Will they become kits?  We will have to see.

Update

The Shadowcat pre-order is closed.  We did not hit 15 but as this is a commissioned kit I will cover the short fall.

Also, note that the Templars have started to ship out.  Build notes are posted.

Shadow Cat Commission is about finished

The last commission after the Templar was a Shadow Cat that incorporated some of the TRO look and some of the newer MWO look.  Here is what the customer ended up approving.  He is also allowing me to kit this mech and a pre-order will open as soon as the caster finishes the Templar.

What else does that mean?  It means I am available for commission work!  I am open to doing anything from scratch builds to just building/detailing existing kits.  Just give me a shout at battlemechmodels@hotmail.com

Templar is off to the Caster!

The Templar has been sent to Timeslip Creations to be cast.  JPG Productions, who use to be my primary caster, is currently focusing on some LARGE projects and just cannot turn around any of my mech projects in a reasonable amount of time.  If you remember, the Nova Cat was supposed to be a 6 week turn around and ended up being around 9-10 weeks.  That is a long wait considering many of those that pre-order paid several weeks before it went to the caster.  So, hopefully I will be shipping Templars to you in about 5-6 weeks.

Templar pre-Order Closed

The Templar Pre-order is CLOSED. We only ended up with 9 paid pre-orders. I was preparing to drop refunds when my better half...much better half...offered to help out with the pre-orders Jessica Fusco "purchased" 6 mechs. This may sound odd, but when I started this I promised myself that I would NEVER take funds out of the "home" budget to support the business. Either it would be self-sufficient or it would stop. So, for those that DID pre-order, thank Jess.

Also, since we did not come close to the pre-order number the banner contest is off the table. Since it is such a small number of pre-ordered mechs, I guess I will just hit up my "The Printer" to do some plaques.

Templar Pre-Order Open

CLOSED

I am going to open a pre-order for the Templar. This is a pretty sizable kit so I am going to have to have 15 paid pre-order for this to see production. $145 plus shipping.

Pre-order Bonus:  For every paid pre-order, you will be entered in a drawing for a 2.5' by 6' (0.75m by 1.8m) banner depicting mech combat on the moon.  The work is not mine...I just found it on-line and it screamed "Cool!"

Please e-mail battlemechmodels@hotmail.com to request an invoice. Make sure you provide your PayPal e-mail and shipping location so I can calculate shipping.

Templar Update

Start saving your pennies. The Templar is 99% done...just some clean-up here and there that you don't catch until you prime it. The pre-order will open as soon as George Takacs at Timeslip gets the Wolfhounds out (he has only had the masters for a week...give the lad time folks). These pics are the upper body in the "prime" configuration...Gauss in one arm, Large Pulse and Med Pulse in the other with two ER medium lasers in the torso and the SRM 4 on the shoulder. The shields are separate pieces (not pictured...primer is curing). The blurry pic is included just to show the parts layout...sorry about that. Height is about 3/4 to 1" shorter than the Armorcast Atlas.

Wolfhound Pre-order is CLOSED!

Any outstanding invoices must be paid within the next 7 days or they will be cancelled and you will have to buy one at full retail.

A HUGE thanks to all those who participated and supported the production of the 'mech and thanks to Sir Malcolm for allowing me to cast his commission.
